Game progress
Garden Roots stores game progress, audio preferences, Garden Mastery, achievements, themes, Daily Puzzle streaks, and personal bests in your browser's local storage. This lets the game remember your progress on that device.
Anonymous product analytics
The publish package includes first-party analytics designed to measure whether the game is working well. When the analytics backend is enabled, Garden Roots can record anonymous events such as a session starting, a level starting or completing, use of a hint, Daily Puzzle use, a result share, a settings change, or leaving a puzzle before completion.
Analytics records use a randomly generated browser identifier and session identifier. The game does not ask analytics for your name, email address, contacts, precise location, or the contents of anything you share.
Sharing
Sharing happens only when you choose Share Result. Garden Roots creates a score summary and score-card image, then hands them to your browser or operating system's sharing interface. The destination you choose may have its own privacy practices.
Resetting your data
You can open Settings inside Garden Roots to reset the campaign to Level 1 or erase all Garden Roots data stored by the game on that browser.
Advertising or third-party services
This release does not require an advertising SDK. If advertising, third-party analytics, user accounts, or other third-party services are added later, this notice should be updated before those services are enabled.
